To improve the lives of children in underserved communities by providing educational resources, medical supplies, and health education, while partnering with local organizations to deliver aid internationally.
Salus Bridge started as a small group of students in Dallas who wanted to do more than fundraise from a distance. We wanted the boxes we packed to actually reach kids, and the books we wrote to actually get read.
Over one year, that meant working directly with partner organizations in Guinea, Haiti, and elsewhere to make sure supplies landed where they were needed most.
What we did
Fundraising
We raised money through crowdfunding campaigns and partnerships with local businesses, and used it to fund every shipment that followed.
School supplies
We purchased and shipped backpacks, books, and other essential materials to orphanages abroad.
Partnerships
We worked with organizations, including Blessing Africa, to make sure donations reached the communities that needed them.
Health education
We wrote and published two children's books, on CPR and on reading medical vitals, to help build health literacy early.
Reach
We supported orphanages in Guinea, Haiti, and other parts of Africa with both educational and operational supplies.

Every shipment started here
Before anything reached a partner overseas, it started with students packing boxes after school — buying supplies, taping them up, and getting them ready to ship.

Why this page still exists
Salus Bridge officially concluded operations in July 2025, as our student leadership team graduated and started college in different cities and states. That was the end of the organization, but we're proud of what we built together through fundraising, educational projects, and support for underserved communities.
